2019 Women’s 100 Hurdles World Rankings

She’s still looking for her first big outdoor gold, but Keni Harrison now has 4 No. 1s in a row. (KEVIN MORRIS)

IF YOU WANT A MASTER CLASS in peaking perfectly, look no farther than Nia Ali at the World Championships, PRing in both the semis and the final, the latter to win the gold. But that was only her second win of the year, as she had an overall record of 2-10, relegating her to the No. 3 position…

AT 8-3 KENI HARRISON had a far better win-loss record, including a 3-2 edge over bronze medalist Danielle Williams and was an obvious choice for the leadership. Harrison was going the wrong way at season’s end, however, finishing off with her 3 losses after 8 straight wins… Harrison’s No. 1 streak is now at 4, trailing only Gail Devers’ record 5 in that department…

WILLIAMS HAD THE MOST DL wins, 4 (including the finale in Brussels), compared to a pair for Harrison (to go with a pair of 2nds).
