2022 Women’s Triple Jump World Rankings

WR setter Yulimar Rojas won her third golds at both the World Indoor & Outdoor Championships. (VICTOR SAILER/PHOTO RUN)

GOOD ENOUGH to be voted runner-up in the AOY contest (again), Yulimar Rojas obviously was the best here. For the fourth time, in fact, joining ’17, ’19 & ’21. Undefeated, she raised her WR to 51-7¾ (15.74) and scored the WC/WIC/DLF treble…

THE FIND OF THE YEAR was Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk, who trailed only Rojas in DL honors, but she could rate no higher than No. 3 after losing to Shanieka Ricketts 4–1…

THE BATTLE FOR U.S. SUPREMACY again came down to Tori Franklin vs. Keturah Orji, with the former finally turning the tables on her arch-rival. After 4 straight years of Orji being the top American and Franklin the runner-up, Eugene bronze medalist Franklin gets the nod.
