2025 Women’s Triple Jump World Rankings

No. 2 the last two years, 23-year-old Leyanis Pérez bounced to No. 1 in a season that saw TJ lioness Yulimar Rojas reemerge to earn a Worlds medal. (JIRO MOCHIZUKI/AGENCE SHOT)

WITH WR HOLDER Yulimar Rojas’s rewriting of the all-time lists in the last few years, we became accustomed to 50-foot performances (to say nothing of 51-footers, and 52 being scared)…

BUT IN ’24 the Venezuelan star was felled by an Achilles problem and the world’s best mark barely cracked 49. This year, it came down to the last jump of the WC that we saw Leyanis Pérez jump 49-¼ (14.94)…

ALREADY THE WORLD INDOOR and DL champ the Cuban ace probably didn’t need the Tokyo gold to be No. 1, but it put a nice cap on a dominant season that moved her up from No. 2 the last two years…

AS FOR ROJAS, her Achilles kept her sidelined until the WC but she managed to bang out a WC bronze and was awarded with the No. 6 spot.
