Horizontal jumper Carey McLeod was a scorer for Tennessee at last year’s NCAA but this time around is tabbed to rack up 16 big points for team favorite Arkansas. (ROBERT BLACK)
IF ARKANSAS PULLS OFF the predicted NCAA men’s team win in Austin in June, the story will have been written in our Where They Are Going edition last fall as most of the Razorbacks’ slated points are from athletes new to the roster this year.
The field-strong favorites project to have 12 scorers in 7 events: 400 (6), 4×4 (4), LJ (1, 3), TJ (1, 3), SP (4, 8), DT (2, 6) & dec (2, 8).
The SEC clearly is the dominant conference these days as our projected top 2 teams — Arkansas and Tennessee— rule the roost, with another 4 among the top 7 schools on this chart.
