Collegiate Women’s Final 2019 Dual Meet Rankings — Texas A&M

THREE TIMES BEFORE Texas A&M had finished in the runner-up position in our Collegiate Women’s Dual Meet Rankings, but this time Pat Henry’s Aggies did it the hard way, winning on the strength of a lone indoor triangular, combined with a fine set of marks.

USC very nearly topped A&M after defeating arch-rival UCLA last weekend. The Trojans’ runner-up placing ties their highest ever finish, from ’87. Texas Tech’s win over Nebraska and Wichita State catapulted them into No. 3 and ended Nebraska’s chance at the title.

To be ranked, a team must compete in one or more dual meets (defined as a scored meet between four or fewer teams) during the indoor season. Teams are ranked on wins & losses, marks, and strength & depth of dual meet schedule. Teams are rewarded for taking dual meet competition seriously.
