U.S. Women’s Rankings did not begin until 1976 (’85 in the triple jump, ’86 in the walk, ’94 in the pole vault & hammer, ’01 in the steeple).
You will also find reduced listings for the years 1956-75. Athletes listed there represent Americans who made the World Rankings and have simply been pulled across in the same order.
