“The goals are simple. We want to build a season fans can follow each year and more earning opportunities domestically for our stars. With the success that Paul [Doyle] already had with the indoor American Track League, it made sense to consolidate our efforts to make an even stronger outdoor season” – Jesse Williams (Sound Running)

“With the impressive exposure gained for the sport this past indoor season and viewing figures that exceeded expectations, ESPN saw the value in continuing the partnership with the ATL. This is something that the participating athletes should be proud of. This is a platform that has been built by the athletes for the athletes and it has me feeling really positive about the future of the sport.” Paul Doyle (American Track League Founder)

“With this 10-meet series we have all the assets necessary to make a Grand Prix like America has never seen. It will suit the growth of future professionals under our own banners, making a bright and profitable future for AMERICAN TRACK AND FIELD!” Sam Kendricks (2-Time World Champion in the Pole Vault)

“I had a blast competing at the American Track League this indoor season, and I’m excited to see the league progress to the outdoor circuit. ESPN has made the right decision in continuing the partnership. It is so great to have more opportunities to compete on our home soil and eventually to have fans back in seats cheering us on.” – Allyson Felix
