Stanford has had the most 1-2 (or better) finishes in NCAA men’s history with 11. Behind the Cardinal, USC is at 9, with Oregon at 6, UTEP at 5… Schools with more than a single 1-2 in the same year: Oregon ’15 (5000, 10,000); Stanford ’00 (1500, 10,000); UTEP ’83 (5000, 10,000)… Only the 800 has never had a 1-2, although there have been 3 incidences of a 1-3.
