Final Collegiate Women’s Dual Meet Rankings — Oregon Pulls It Out

Oregon, with a rash of good marks in the final weekend of the season, has won yet another women’s dual meet championship, its fourth since the rankings were revived in ’12. Robert Johnson’s Ducks missed the rankings for the first time in women’s team history last year (they were ineligible due to lack of a dual/tri/quad meet) but came storming back with a big win over #8 BYU, #23 Washington State, and Washington at their traditional Pepsi Team Invitational.

Texas A&M slipped to #2 after leading for most of the season. Stanford remained at #3, while #4 Minnesota earns its highest ranking ever, as did #9 Ohio State.

Rankings reflect a combined indoor/outdoor season, but with a heavier emphasis on outdoor competition. To be ranked, a team must compete in one or more dual meets—defined as a scored meet between 4 or fewer teams. Teams are ranked on wins & losses, marks and strength & depth of dual meet schedule. Teams are rewarded for taking dual meet competition seriously.
