U.S. Women’s AOY Top 10 Voting

A third 2-WR season, and not coincidentally a 2-AR campaign, made Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone a shoo-in. (JIRO MOCHIZUKI/AGENCE SHOT)

TWICE BEFORE THE U.S. (and World) AOY, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, now a 3-time World No. 1, is back in first position. After garnering 99.7% of U.S. No. 1 votes in ’21 and 100% in ’22, SML hit a 99% score for ’24 as Valarie Allman and Tara Davis-Woodhall (in her first Top 10 appearance) each received a No. 1 vote…

All in all, the head count of repeaters from ’23 was 5 — with Gabby Thomas (No. 4), Sha’Carri Richardson (6) and Katie Moon (9) joining SML and Allman. Moon is now at 4 straight in Top 10 appearances…
