No double win for women’s leader Texas A&M in this week’s ratings as Nebraska has overtaken the lead from the Aggies in this week’s Collegiate Men’s Dual Meet Rankings. However, Gary Pepin’s Huskers face a significant challenge in 2 weeks when they travel to current #3 Texas Tech—the defending dual meet champions—for a triangular including Wichita State. The winner will likely take the national crown.
Other upcoming meets among top teams include Ole Miss & #14 Alabama @ #6 LSU on April 27 and #4 UCLA @ #15 USC on April 28.
To be ranked, a team must compete in one or more dual meets (defined as a scored meet between 4 or fewer teams) during the indoor season. Teams are ranked on a combination of not only wins & losses, but also marks and strength & depth of dual meet schedule. Teams are rewarded for taking dual meet competition seriously.
