Best All-Time Adjusted 100-Meter Performances — Women

FAST 100-METER TIMES aren’t always what they seem, since both wind and altitude can play a major part in the result. On June 05, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce ran a 10.63 to move to No. 2 on the all-time performers list. But using the wind/altitude charts found in The Big Gold Book, we find that in “basic” terms (i.e., assuming zero wind and altitude aid) it’s not even a PR for her, the +1.3 wind reading converting the 10.63 to a 10.71. In winning the ’13 World Championships title SAFP ran 10.71 with a wind of -0.3. That converts to a 10.70. The fastest converted times ever:
