Track & Field News has been organizing tours to the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials since the 1970’s and understandably they are among our most popular tours. The 2024 edition will once again be in Tracktown USA—Eugene, Oregon, home of the University of Oregon and its track & field centerpiece, Hayward Field, the stadium completely rebuilt to host the 2022 World Championships. This will be the fifth consecutive Trials in Eugene.
Given the do-or-die format, with generally the first three placers making the U.S. Olympic team in each event, there is nothing like the Trials for thrills, drama, heartbreak, extraordinary performances—nirvana for the American track fan.
The 2024 tour package will include:
- Tickets of all sessions of the Olympic Trials
- Lodging, 11 nights In June 20, Out July 1
- Daily continental breakfast
- Gala luncheon, with invited athletes and coaches
- Daily newsletter from the T&FN editorial staff
- Welcome to Eugene function
- The hands-on leadership of the world’s most experienced and successful track & field tour organization.
Our lodging will all be either walking distance to the stadium or with good access to the EmX bus service that will take you to within a 10-minute walk to the stadium. We will be ordering tickets the finish line (shady) side of the stadium.
Tour price. Lodging in Eugene is limited, and the motels and hotels know it. Accordingly, lodging rates have gone through the roof—double what we’ve had to pay for previous Trials in Eugene.
Our current tour price projection is in the vicinity of $6400 per person (double occupancy) for the closest motels, $5200 for motels with greater walking distance (30-40 minutes).
We are close to sold out. For more details or to inquire about availability email tours@trackandfieldnews.com.
