2023 NCAA Women’s Formchart #4 — Huge Texas Score?

Whatever combination of events she runs, Julien Alfred of Texas figures to score a lot of points in the 100, 200, 4×1 and 4×4. (ERROL ANDERSON/THE SPORTING IMAGE)

WITH THE TEAM TITLE seemingly sewn up, all that remains for Texas is a shot at the highest point total ever (since the current system came into play in ’85). The record aggregate at this point is 93 by LSU in ’93. Coach Edrick Floréal’s Longhorns are currently predicted to rack up 88 points, the second-highest ever.

Far behind the hosts, Florida (54) and Arkansas (53) figure to stage a down-to-the-wire war for the runner-up trophy.

Chart No. 4 features 6 new projected individual winners: Roisin Willis (Stanford) 800, Greta Karinauskaitė (Cal Baptist) steeple, Simone Plourde (Utah) 5000, Everlyn Kemboi (Utah Valley) 10K, Savannah Sutherland (Michigan) 400H & Charisma Taylor (Tennessee) TJ.

This chart was prepared after final entries were announced by the NCAA. The 10-deep predictions for each event (‘ = athlete not eligible for U.S. international teams):
