2019 EURO DIAMOND LEAGUE TOUR TENTATIVE ITINERARYArrive August 23, Fri. Arrive Paris. Check in to Holiday Inn Gare de Lyon Bastille. August 24, Sat. Breakfast welcome meeting this morning, 9am-10:30am. Meeting de Paris this evening at Stade Charlety. August 25, Sun. Day at leisure in Paris. We won’t provide a city tour in Paris, since most of you have been here before, but for anyone new to the city we suggest doing one of those hop-on, hop-off motorbuses. August 26, Mon. 9am departure. Motorcoach to Dijon (188 miles). Overnight at the Mercure Dijon Centre Clemenceau. August 27, Tues. 9am departure. Motorcoach to Konstanz, Germany (245 miles). Arrive mid-afternoon. Check in to the Ibis Konstanz Hotel. August 28, Wed. Day free in Konstanz. Possible trip to the Rhine Falls, or cruise on the lake. August 29, Thurs. We’ll bus to Zurich at 11am. It’s about an hour’s drive. Tour members can have lunch in city center (eating street) and do a bit of sightseeing. Motorcoach will pick you up at 5:30pm and we’ll drive to Letzigrund Stadium for the Zurich Weltklasse. Back to Konstanz after the meet. August 30, Fri. 9am departure for Nuremberg, Germany (290 miles). Arrive mid-after- noon. Overnight at Le Meridien Grand Hotel. August 31, Sat. 9am departure for Berlin (268 miles). Mid-afternoon arrival and check n to the Maritim proArte Hotel Berlin for a three-night stay. September 1, Sun. ISATF Berlin World Challenge meeting this afternoon. We’ll take the U-Bahn (or S-Bahn) to the beautifully renovated 1936 Olympic Stadium September 2, Mon. 9am—Berlin city tour this morning. Rest of the day free in Berlin. September 3, Tues. 9am departure for Hannover (172 miles). Overnight at the Crowne Plaza Hannover. Group dinner this evening. September 4, Wed. 9am departure for Brussels (290 miles). Late afternoon check-in to the Pullman Brussels Centre Midi Hotel. September 5, Thurs. 9am—Brussels city tour this morning. Rest of day at leisure. September 6, Fri. Day at leisure. Evening Van Damme Memorial track meet at King Baudoin Stadium. Our bus will leave from the hotel at 5:30pm. September 7, Sat. Transfer to airport. Return to USA. Breakfast daily at each hotel. Two city tours (Berlin and Brussels). One group dinner. Four track meets. The price should be similar to the 2018 Euro tour, but we’ll know more once we nail down the hotels.
