After narrowly defeating Texas A&M and Arkansas on January 19, the LSU Tigers maintain their top spot in the second update our Women's Indoor Dual Meet Rankings.

That big 3-way battle among LSU, Texas A&M and Arkansas was very close, with just 4½ points separating the teams, and the Rankings reflect this by placing those three at the very top.

A notable new entry into the Top 20 is Grand Valley State, ranked #1 in Div. II and the defending national champions. Last Saturday the Lakers finished 2nd in a tight quadrangular meet, just 4½ points behind #10 Eastern Michigan. They are the first Division II team to make an appearance in the the Rankings.

The next Women’s Rankings will be released on Wednesday, February 13. The next Men's Rankings will be released on Wednesday, February 6. The final for both men and women will be released on Monday, February 18.
