Final Women’s Indoor Dual Meet Rankings — Indiana Wins

Indiana led from the gun to win its first women’s indoor dual meet championship. It is just the second such championship by a Big Ten women’s team (Minnesota turned the trick in ’17). Ron Helmer’s Hoosiers defeated #3 Tennessee a month ago for a big win. Three-time winner Texas A&M holds down the runner-up spot.

This is just a prelude to the big prize which is the season-long comprehensive indoor/outdoor duals championship. The first of those rankings will be released in late March.

The Complete Women’s Rankings

To be ranked, a team must compete in one or more dual meets (defined as a scored meet between four or fewer teams) during the indoor season. Teams are ranked on wins and losses, marks, and strength and depth of dual meet schedule. Teams are rewarded for taking dual meet competition seriously.
