A very wise man told me years ago one of the qualities of being a leader is to praise people in public, and censure them in private.

Is this behavior typical of all national caliber training centers? Would a member of Team Russia, Team China, team Jamaica, team Ethiopia, or team Japan find this behavior familiar

I know you won't last long as a teacher or coach if you don't subscribe to that wisdom. I've had colleagues who couldn't master that simple concept and subsequently disappeared. I guess AS thought he was above that, but . . . he wasn't.

Read some of the news/tweets/posts to my wife last night and her response to the mention of Mary Cain trying to rejoin the NOP was exactly that, just like an abused woman repeatedly going back.

I wrote years ago on one of the old Cain threads that I wouldn't have Salazar train my dog....let alone my daughter...I knew enough stories already that it would not end well.

    As for aronnk....

"Has nothing to do with Alberto......whom I've come to admire and respect TOTALLY.....and has nothing to do with Mary either."
