Doha should always be in September just to remind everyone never to have the WCs there again....

To quote the King of Siam:

    Very often find confusion
    In conclusion, I concluded long ago . . .

    Is a puzzlement

"T&F . . . the IAAF, oh, sorry, the WTF, needs to cater to the core-fans. Everyone else will find something interesting. We live in the DVR age, where few watch things live any more, so you have to please the people that brung ya. "

Remember this is really about Europe where there are very few hard core fans anymore.....there is no high school or college track in Europe and a dwindling number of home grown talent anymore on the international level.... it's all soccer that goes from August to May once or twice a week and then the Euros or WC every other year....

And Brussels was out too, per this DL press release of August 26:

<<Weltklasse Zurich will host the 2020 and 2021 Diamond League finals under the new one-final format that was jointly announced by the IAAF and Diamond League in March this year.

The Diamond League was established in 2010 with two finals, traditionally held in Zurich and Brussels, but for the next two years Zurich, long considered one of the pre-eminent one-day meetings in the world, will host the single final.

The selection of the final venue was also influenced by the scheduled renovation of the King Baudoin Stadium in Brussels over the next two years.>>

Stockholm officially claimed they were out. I have not seen information as to why they are in again, other than that IAAF changed their mind.

Would it be fair to assume that the new DL sponsor changed things? Because obviously everything except the events being cut(which have not been revealed) flipped on its side.
