10-16-2019 11:48 AMThe men's winner is easy to pick ... Karsten Warholm for the greatest season ever by a 400m Hurdler - six times under 47.5 this season. The previous bests were Samba (4) and Moses (3).
More difficult for the women I think, but Brigid Kosgei would be far from the worst choice.

10-16-2019 07:06 PMGardiner may be a solid competition for Warholm. He was also undefeated.

10-16-2019 07:17 PMGardiner missed the diamond league final though (did he even have enough points to enter?) and he didn't face his top competitors outside of the World Champs.

10-17-2019 12:30 AMLyles is a serious contender, I think. Two WC golds (200, 4x1) and two DL titles (100, 200) is a solid resume; and this tends to be as much about "who can we market" as about "who was the best", which is good for Warholm but also for Lyles and Kipchoge.
