And still no word on what went wrong with Mo.
I'm surprised they even ran...running a marathon at that level takes amazing focus...and in the last 2 weeks your coach is banned for 4 years and your team is considered persona non grata...do well and you can only imagine the questions...

And Mo has been a punching bag in Britain for the last 2 weeks...

Yes, the 2016 US marathon team members are automatic qualifiers for the Trials.

That seems to be the general wisdom, and it might be right for regular, pretty good runners. However, at the marathon, men should now be favored more strongly. Why; because it is now possible for the men to run on mostly premium fuel the whole way. However, all of the advances in shoes, fueling, training, etc., are not enough to get women to where they can race it the same as men because the 11% longer they are out there. If the men were running a 47km race, they would definitely have to go at a slower pace to keep from crashing. The 2:14:04 should be about the same as a 2:00:40 or so (about the same as the Monza run).

Given that Chicago is thought to be slower than London, and especially Berlin (and Dubai?), I wonder what she might hit there.

He obviously keeps his youth by drinking the blood of young spam posters. They don't last long, do they?

Probably not. If I read their website correctly, A.R.R.S. does not recognize Radcliffe's mark that Keitany surpassed, as it was not set in an all-women's race.

This is how many American men ran faster than 2:14:04 a on non-aided course (i.e. mostly not Boston) the last few years:

    2013....10
    2014....11
    2015....4
    2016....7
    2017....11
