    Good points....I've watched Chicago many times in person....it doesn't have a sense of a sporting event in Chicago like Boston...the Tribune had literally had no stories on the race this year ....I read the Tribune everyday online in Eugene and I forgot the race was even today. It's basically thought of as a big Jogathon....if you know someone running you go watch otherwise no....

    Is there a drug testing available after WR in world marathon majors? Answer should be "Yes".

    We will see sub 2 hrs marathon again in 2020 IMO.

    Not surprising..besides the injury....there must have been hundreds of runners flying by in the first 5k...

    Oh dear....these days the real action in the marathon is where the money is....the big city races...and yes they test at these races....
