    Poland is hugely divided, probably more so than the US, if you can believe that.

    With just a few days left until the parliamentary elections, the ruling party decided to declare it a natonal success. Even the minister of culture, who said in a TV interview just a few days ago he wasn't able to finish any of her books, now pledged to give them another try

    Just for the record, 'Primeval and Other Times' and 'House of Day, House of Night' are the favorites of mine. 'Flights' is pretty good as well. Her opus magnum, 'The Books of Jacob' is not available in English yet AFAIK.
