09-27-2019 11:04 AMIf Thompson runs 10.7 & DAS in the 10.8s in the 100, then I'm leaning towards ET winning the 200m. DAS has had a few commanding victories over ET over 200 this season, but ET did beat her at the Eugene DL, which was 7 days after the JAM nationals. This suggests, to me, when ET is in her best form she can beat DAS (of course the counter argument is that DAS hasn't had to peak yet, so we don't know what her peak vs ET's peak is until Doha.)
Take away SAFP's JAM Champs run and her and Schippers times have been pretty even this season. Taking Schippers back into consideration, and hoping easing off from heavy training will help, I'm relying on Schippers grit/defending champ mentality, to sneak SAFP for bronze. I think she will be highly motivated by not medalling or DNS in the 100
edit: Apparently the Dutch are complaining about the hotel they are at in Doha, the Norwegian team have already left after some have fallen ill. That'll be the last thing Schippers needs after a back injury!Last edited by Wiederganger; 09-27-2019 at 12:36 PM.

09-29-2019 05:38 PMI imagine she would've been taking it seriously anyway but that's a huge shame. She would have been a solid medal contender.

09-29-2019 06:26 PMYep, Thompson is listed. If she pulled out she couldn't start the relay.
