Surprised no one is suggesting the woman with 11.07w/22.39 credentials as another 4x1 possibility

Has it been confirmed that ET will run the relays? I was under the impression that she was completely out of the championships due to her nagging injury.

So Pinto has been practicing with the GER relay so looks like shes in.

JAM fed announced they are still working on the womens line up not that long ago.

GBR may still be the ones to watch though

No. Hasn’t been confirmed that she isn’t either. So we wait. Lol

Briana Williams posted a photo of her Doha ID on Facebook! Apparently she was brought in at the last minute for the relay.

I always feel sad that the Ivory Coast doesn't have two more above average sprinters to pair with Ahoure and Ta Lou.

And Jackson's said she's running the 4x1 as well!

So the Jamaican line-up may well be: Williams-Jackson-Smith-SAFP. With clean hand-offs, that squad's as good as gold.

If that is the line up they go with, it's going to be hard to match.

The familiarity of passing and practice might clinch it for GBR.

I see the GBR team beating that JAM line-up.

NED line up has been further diminished as Visser will not be running either, to concentrate on the hurdles. They have drafted in 11.37 runner Nargelis Statia Pieter* on the first leg, who will hand off to Marije van Hunenstijn on second, then Jamile Samuel and Naomi Sedney on third and fourth. If NED qualify for the final - a big if - then Schippers may run the final, but it is still a race against time - no pun intended - to see if she is fit enough.

*Though Statia Pieter's PB is 11.37, she is consistent around the 11.6 range
