    Jamaica for me. USA don't have 47.7 Felix and the teams are evenly matched. Could go either way
    why don't people pronounce vowels anymore

    They would be evenly matched if the teams were limited to the individual 400 runners. Including McLaughlin and Muhammad makes a difference.

    Does Felix putting up a 50.4 split deserve a spot in the semifinal heat lineup ?
    I am sure some will depend on the form of the four us women in the open 400.

    Good point - as I imagine Okolo should be considered as well. I have doubts about one of those listed in the open event.

    Prelim- Spencer/Ellis, Wimbley, Okolo, Francis

    Final - Wimbley, Muhammad, Francis, McLaughlin
