    There might be a counterprotest from Jamaica under consideration, because they're now doing the medal ceremony for m4x4 and not the women.

    I don't get though. Don't officials position the athletes? The commentators on the IAAF feed were talking as though it is the athletes that position themselves. That seems daft. Or did the officials position her and then she moved? That would be super daft. I thought every possible relay athlete at professional level would know by now that you should not move from where officials place you.

    It's hard to see clearly in the TV picture, but I think as the second runners are entering the finishing straight, McPherson is already standing second from the inside.
