09-30-2019 02:14 PMThe graphical lines are even more ridiculous than in some of the previous events, the displayed 65-meter line is roughly on top of (and actually intersects) the real Q line at 63.50. (On top of that, one of Kitaguchi's throws got mismeasured, although they fixed it later.)
Barber in 5th and Kolak in 6th after group A, neither of them can feel really safe.

09-30-2019 02:17 PMFavorites struggling in group A. Tuğsuz out. Barber and Kolak in 5th and 6th may be in, but it could be close. Nobody with a Q, though Liu missed it by just 2 cm.

09-30-2019 02:23 PMWas really hoping to see Ince make the final, but 60.44 probably isn't going to cut it. Probably needed 61.50-ish. Hopefully Winger will throw at least that far and get in when 'B' flight rolls around.

09-30-2019 02:29 PMThe standard is down somewhat compared to the last two editions. In both 2015 and 2017 there were women who didn't make the final with 62+ throws.

09-30-2019 02:48 PMDoes the relatively dead air in the stadium hurt marks a bit, although not like in the Discus?

09-30-2019 03:03 PMOne of the likely difficulties is that the wind conditions in the stadium are probably very different from outside it and they only get 2 warm-up throws before the competition.
