Not sure there's anything wrong with him, I just don't think he's in 43.45 form at this point.

I think he probably only needs to be in 43.8 shape anyway

So basically you don’t believe his training is aligned properly to peak at these championships.

    Otherwise, why wouldn’t he be??

    You just might be super-surprised.
I've been saying for the longest while, no USA 1-2

I'd be surprised if US doesnt get 2 medals here: Gold & silver or gold & bronze. Many in this forum seem quick to dismiss Norman & Kerley.

I haven't seen a single person dismissing them here. Questioning, perhaps.

If Kerley is in similar form as the Trials, I don’t see a scenario where the US doesn’t get at least 2 medals. *♂️

Norman hadn’t trained for two weeks prior to the trials because of injury & almost didn’t run at all. Still ran 43.79. I think that’s his floor here.

Him and Norman are going to have to perform subpar and be well off their game for the others to keep them off the podium.

Gardiner hasn't had a full season of health, though, and I believe he's rather underraced this year. I think he and Bloomfield will be battling for the bronze, and if Kerley absolutely falters, they'll keep him off the podium.

    This is clearly dismissive:

They are favored to go 1-2. Whether they do or not is another matter.
