    800? Well If you know anything about Gardiner any event that introduces more lactic would get an emphatic "hell no" from him. He started out short sprinting and it was the heaviest lift to get him to try the 400 his penultimate year of high school.

    Yeah I guess I can see it happening as part of his off season training in a low key meet somewhere but once the regular season starts in earnest it should be back to basics.
