    I'll give him that but I'm still not totally confident in his ability to produce in a major champs outside of his own backyard. Then again, many Europeans would have said the same about Carl Lewis before Helsinki in '83.

    The sample size is kinda small, in that it encompasses only 1 meet, the '17 WC. And in that one, the final was his 45th (!) race of the year.

    With all this Norman vs Kerley discussion, I will not be very surprised if there is no US gold in this event.
