I'm watching every minute of this meet. Im into this sports for ever so i know things. Americans are scoring a lot of medals. its freakin 300 milion people country so they should. But a lot of favourites are underperforming especially on track (Wilson, Norman, Carter, Ellis,)

I think he got injured between Rome and Pre because he went from beating Lyles in the 200 to seemingly struggling. He had recovered somewhat by usatf and did look good at the diamond league final but he has looked tired and flat this week. I don’t know what is exactly wrong maybe he doesn’t even know, look what happened to Kirani James, illnesses can manifest suddenly even in young healthy people

True. I was just thinking that the 4x400 relay would be a lock because no other nation has as many competitors (4) in the semifinals, but Norman is probably not available now.

Any time of more than about 10 athletes is pretty much guaranteed to have a few athletes underperform to be fair.

His BBC interview was really weird. Never said he was injured just talked all around it.

Very odd. There's something else going on that he really didn't want to talk about.

The truth from what vantage point?
    LJ - silver medal
    TJ - gold, silver medals
    100 - gold, silver medals
    200 - gold medal
    400h - silver medal
    PV - gold medal

Not too shabby, if you ask me
