Not disagreeing. But who else on the list has multiple World/Olympic medals??

One each, I believe. Give Brazier two medals total and a couple more years at this level and he's the best. Give him medals in 2020, 2021, and one out of '23, '24, '25 and, oh my. But also rememeber that Wottle and Wohlhuter had no WC available.

It did not affect Brazier (who is coached by Julian), but it might have affected Murphy.

To my knowledge, both are coached by Pete Julian. I've watch the race a couple times and noticed Murphy walks off the track without congratulating Brazier. Weak sauce.

I finally got to watch the replay, having missed it at work (I recorded it while I was away).

For a moment, it might have looked that way. Except that he knew that backstraight was the point where Vázquez would eventually crap out. He did the very thing Ajee didn't, which was to open it up and put a big-enough gap between him and the field, and dare them to catch him. That seems to be the way to go when you're barely in front with 300 to 350m to go.

He didn't do particularly well under Salazar, he should come back with coach Lee Badie (not sure the spelling is correct) who brought him to 1.42...

Not surprising when you run with a group where the only thing that matters is how great you run....
