If Samba steps on the track healthy or even 90%, I think he is the best of the 3. But its hard for me to imagine Warholm loosing this.

Remember the epic men's 400 hurdles in Rome (1987)? Doha could be even more epic.

If the other two are at 100%, no way someone at 90% wins without something going awry (which happens in the 400h). When was the last time Benjamin lost a championship race?

After the 2018 season, I felt Warholm was lucky to have won '17 WC before Samba came along. I thought he was going to go the way of Jesse Williams.

Samba really seemed to be on another level last year and starting this year. Well never know, but IMO, he might have already been around 47.8 or faster if he wasnt injured. But yea, I have Warholm winning regardless at this point.

regarding Benjamin - Out of the 5 championships he has competed in since a youth, he has won 2 of them: USAs this year and NCAA's last year.

I'm sorry but having a minimal 0.05 second better mark set in easier conditions hardly puts him on a different level. Samba might have been the favorite but clearly there was still good room for Benjamin to improve further and Warholm was new to the event also. Yes RB only had one great race at that point but that was partly by circumstances, and he had a number of very good 400r carries.

LopenUupunut have you heard anything about the Norwegian team having to switch hotels? According to the Dutch team, their hotel is dreadful, and the Norwegian team have decided to switch hotels because some athletes were getting ill....hopefully this has not affected Warholm!
