A team of Coleman-Holloway-Baker-Lyles would make sense for next year IMO

    Anchor splits from PJ:
    8.77 - Lyles
    8.88 - Simbine
    8.91 - Mitchell-Blake
    8.96 - Sani Brown

In the heats, De Grasse ran 8.83 for his anchor.

Justin Gatlin might have something to say about that second leg.

If Lyles had gone to college and got a lot of relay experience I could see him anywhere, but that didn't happen. I'll go with the consensus on this board to let him run anchor.

Coleman on the Leadoff, Lyles on anchor. Could be the bookends on the 4x1 from now through 2028 for us

A healthy Baker in place of Rodgers and the US is under 37.

I can't see him on the relay if he is not doing any 100s and/or doing some of the relay meets (Penn, World Relays, etc., but they are all so early).

I saw a replay this morning and didn't think the last pass was quite as bad as I had thought it was watching it live last night in the stadium. We've all seen a lot worse.

That's not a high bar to clear (to use a T&F metaphor!).
