1st 2 legs show that with a healthy Norman and Benjamin, 3:54 is possible.

the opening split was shown as Fred kerley ran 43.44, which would the fastest opening split on a 4x4

as noted elsewhere, pay no attention to those splits,, they're 100% bogus

Best guess on Kerley at this point is that he ran 44.5, with Cherry next at 43.8

edited to fix bad typo on Cherry time

The camera is at the finish line. First guy who crossed that line (in an outside lane) triggered the timer. Look for the 800 starting line (the broken white/green/white line) in Fred's lane to clock his split.

This is promising since neither squad was at full strength (Norman, Benjamin, Bloomfield, Allen all either injured or not 100% healthy).

What a warrior Benjamin is to take one for the team like that. In the beginning of this video interview Rai reveals he ran injured in the 400 Hurdles final.

As I've been saying for a bit now next year should be fun with Jamaica potentially having 3 under 44 and USA the same or 4. If Thebe, Sibanda and Amos all healthy for Botswana, WR may be under serious threat
