    this was so captivating that in combination with watching wDT on another monitor that with my sound muted (ahhh, bliss!!!) I didn't even realize the men's steeple final had been run

    Well deserved and extra credit for having to deal with the hopes of a nation in order to pull out a win for Barshim. He was flying high today and likely would have gone a bit higher under normal competitive circumstances.

    Looked as good as he ever has at the high heights. I'm confident that he could have gone 2.40+ tonight, but no need. Very happy for him to win in front of the home crowd. As he said in the camera, "This is my house"!
