    Has anyone over 2 meters tall ever run the 100 as fast as Lepage? His PB is 10.31.

    Mayer is in incredible shape. Let's hope he stays in one piece and doesn't do anything stupid like foul 3 times in the LJ because his strides are longer than he expected.

    You're probably thinking of hurdler Florian Schwarthoff (2.01), but his best was just 10.66.

    Another German, Ingo Schultz ran 44.66 for 400m at 2.01m but I'm not sure about his times for shorter distances.

    Tim Goebel? I think he was just short of 2 meters.

    EDIT: ATFS Annual 2002 (from when he set his PB) says 1.99.

    Mayer 7.43 in round 1. Not great for him, but at least he's got a mark he can build on.
