Friends, Im a little bit ashamed of myself for saying that. dont hold it against me, please. These championships take a toll on user4.

Not sure how you are seeing that. Meyer finished second in Rio, giving Eaton a run for his money, and then won in London the next year. His only real disappointment was last years euros. This year was beyond his control. People get hurt. I fully expect he will back and better then ever in Tokyo.

Notwithstanding his world outdoor titles for senior, junior and youth, his world indoor senior title, his world record - of course you are right. He just doesn’t have what it takes.

Right, he's only the reigning world champion and Olympic silver medalist. What an embarassment of an athlete.

He won in London which hasn't been a Frenchman's backyard since 1066!

Kaul just equalled his PB at 4.80 and he looks ready to go a lot higher. He could gain serious point vis-a-vis the projections in this event.

Lepage 8355 (510 55.5 4:50) (he doesn't project 5th, but added him since he's up there on present score)

This is wide open. Any of those top four could win.
I have Warner a bit lower on my projections, so I agree that it's wide open and any of these 4 could win.

Warner out with a best of 4.70
    Shkurenyov 5.20
    Uibo 5.40

Kaul has done 4.80 and is still vaulting.
