Now in 18.99's defense, the outfits worn by the women in the PV would be a bit out of place in the US, unless on a beach.

When I was in Doha, I did not see Qatari men and women socializing with each other.

Not just the PV, but pretty much all events, except possibly the throws. And not just in the US, but pretty much anywhere in the Western world.

Did they walk around outside the resort in short shorts and sleeveless tops?

No, these aren't college girls, but they weren't covered up either.

Fair or not, the bottom line is that the culture of their nation is different from ours. It is common in Saudi Arabia for men to hold hands, and it is acceptable in the UK for men to wear kilts: Neither of these would I recommend if they were to visit me in Alabama.

We do not have to like or approve of their cultural norms. But when visiting their sovereign nations, it is good etiquette to respect theirs.

Generally only if you're Scottish and are at a formal occasion.

Noted, but acceptable nonetheless. I would just not recommend it if you happen to be attending any event in Gadsden, Alabama, no matter how formal.
