Stockholm loses DL status

The article said the DL is going down to a 13 meet schedule, but I thought the plan was for 12 meets starting in 2020?

i believe Brussels is also out of the picture with stadium rebuild

As GH mentioned in an earlier post, Berlin had a chance to be a DL Meet in the beginning. They decided to pass on it because they wanted the flexibility of doing things their way. If they have any regrets, this is their chance to change their mind.

I believe that Ostrava (one of the best IWC meets) has had DL aspirations for several years now.

IIRC, Berlin was never in the Diamond League.

Berlin was part of the original Golden 4 in '93, which segued into the Golden League in '98, but they chose not to join Diamond League for the '10 season
