Happy 59th birthday today (Friday) to an Olympic champion with two Olympic gold medals and one Olympic silver medal.
This person won Olympic gold approximately 1,975 miles (3,180 km) from this athlete's place of birth.
Turquoise Thompson, Sage Watson, and Damu Cherry all have something in common with our birthday athlete.
You might know that this champion owns a World Championship gold medal.
Our birthday athlete competed in two events at a total of two Olympic Games.
Do you know who this athlete is?
Go ahead and give it a try. Name our birthday athlete for this third Friday of September.

09-20-2019 02:47 PMI just looked it up. I must say that there's something very unusual (maybe sneaky?) about your clues.

09-20-2019 07:07 PMHappy birthday (59) today to Alice Brown. Nice work, LopenUupunut. Alice Brown won gold in the Los Angeles Olympics (1984) when she ran the first leg of the winning four by 100 relay. A few days before that relay, Brown took the Olympic silver medal in the 100 final.
Four years later in Seoul, she repeated her Los Angeles relay performance with another first leg and another gold medal. Both relays (Los Angeles & Seoul) were won with times under 42.00. The winning time in Los Angeles was 41.65 and it was 41.98 in Seoul.
I wonder how those times would do in a couple of weeks in Qatar.
