interesting to note that the men only added 1 to the 4x1 pool and 2 to the 4x4 pool, whereas the women added 3 to each.

09-16-2019 09:31 PMIn terms of number of athletes this may well be the largest World Championship team ever?

09-16-2019 09:59 PMNone of our 400 hurdlers on either relay pool?
I feel liike Sydney Mc might be a tad quicker than Allison Felix.
And Rai Benjamin has certainly shown 400 flat chops.

09-16-2019 10:03 PMeverybody who is on the team (including Ryan Crouser, Joe Kovacs and Darrell Hill) is eligible for the relays.
the "relay pool" is added bodies allowed by the IAAF to flesh things out.

09-16-2019 10:21 PMAre you sure about this? This is what the IAAF has to say: "Each Member Federation will be allowed to enter one qualified team in each relay event, subject to the below. A total of six athletes may be entered and these must include the individual athletes (up to four) entered in the respective individual event (100m and 400m)." Means Wimbley, Ellis, Jonathas and Francis/Norman, Kerley, Strother and Norwood have to be on the team of six allowed for the 4x4. Leaves only two spots for fast shot putters.
