The IAAF streaming, broadcast team didn't test run the look of new graphics for these championships on YouTube. The "IAAF. TV" watermark/branding is partially blocking out the time clock graphic.

Going full screen kind of helps but it's still partially blocked out. I couldn't tell any of today's times so far until the broadcasters said them.

With 70 minutes between the mixed relay heats and the m10,000, it's been really great to have so much field event coverage (wHT and mLJ) on the main feed. [Wondering what the NBC broadcast is doing to fill the time].

Coverage has been very slow putting up results on the screen.

    absolutely
    absolutely
    absolutely

    and more absolutely
    absolutely

let's toss in a dozen more of the good ol' absolutely

Can we please have a moratorium on the use of the word absolutely?

Guess not. A drinking game with the word "absolutely" would leave a stack of bodies from this meet.

Use "Live Results" on a different tab on your browser. I usually have a couple of "Live Results" tabs to go with one NBC Gold tab. (I don't have enough bandwidth at my house to run two streams at once.)

This probably deserves its own thread because this is not only about this champs, but that bloody gigantic WR virtual graphics all over the sand during horizontal jumps makes me frustrated.
Please don't tell me I'm the only one who thinks this virtual graphics is doing no good to the sport.
Mark in the sand cannot be seen clearly on the screen. That's the fact.

This is one example of good virtual lines -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-mY_cw_cCU But I don't think we even need virtual lines if the sand and camera angle are good.

Rant about the IAAF choosing not to share data with the public.

Being able to see the red cards and the 1k splits in the race walk would really help. Like maybe have the 5k splits be the main thing, but a way to expand to 1k splits for the diehard fans?

If you are not able to watch the video, you would have no idea who had suffered from the 5 minute red card penalty...
