I think Ibarguen is injured, which is why she didnt jump in Zurich and did poorly in the Brussles LJ

15.41m is insane and the WR seems imminent at this point for Rojas.
    Video of the jump: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrcUCMv-LhM

Out of curiosity, does anyone know where Rojas lives and trains?

ATFS Annual says she lives in Guadalajara, Spain.

Thanks for the video - love the slo-mo replays!

I've said this before, but she

    a. doesn't look fast on the runway (deceptively long stride, what a useful tool in this event!).
    b. has an undistinguished middle phase.
    c. looks lethargic all the way through.

but, BOY, does she fly!! Wouldn't touch a thing about her!! If you try and lengthen that middle phase out, she'd pay for it with a truncated jump phase.

I thought the middle phase on that particular jump looked better than usual. Which would suggest she has margin for improvement in that department.

BTW, for those who didn't know, she's coached by Ivan Pedroso.

When it comes to looking slow and lethargic, she's got nothing on Inessa Kravets. Maybe that's actually the right way to do the TJ

Good to see "Jimmy Hundredfires" fulfilling the potential he showed as an under 20.

So is Halasz, who recently beat Nowicki in Hungary. The two Poles are still favorites, but we might see a bit more of a challenge to their dominance this time.
