She's capable of 21.60 but when we'll see it is anyone's guess.

In fact, Warholm has already put together the finest season by any athlete ever in the 400H - five times under 47.44 (and he's not finished yet!)

Samba did that 4 times last year and Ed Moses only ever ran sub-47.50 three times in one season (1981) with three times sub-47.38 in that year.

Consider that only half the race is into a slight headwind, while the earlier part of the race has a slight tailwind. In any case, an impressive run!

Loved Cheptegie's 5k race, breaking away with about a mile to go. Think he can win the 10k at Worlds, with that kind of race.

As someone pointed out on Twitter, Warholm has now run 400H faster than any other Norwegian has over 400 flat this year.

I was hoping this year he would go for the open 400m European Record. I think he is capable of doing that. Maybe after Doha?

After Doha? Where is he going to find a top-level meet in October?

Lol interesting conspiracy theory. Never thought of it that way.

No idea! Just wishing! Does he need a top-level meet to do it?
