Entries are up. Transfers still closed.

I would keep an eye out as they didn't seem they kept transfers open for a very long time for Paris. Wouldn't put it past them to make the same mistake here.

Interesting choices here; pick a safe captain with good MR chances, or go all-in with Warholm or Benjamin hoping for a WR but risking a loss?

While I love these kinds of contests (e.g., the Dutch one), this particular game is Frustration Incarnate, and I studiously avoid it. Not only does the IAAF administration of it seem haphazard, but no one can know what the athletes are doing in their peaking protocol, and maybe they aren't all in at this point - despite the financial rewards. The Big Payoff is Doha and performance incentives might be tied to the WC and/or one's ranking, which is, of course, heavily dependent on one's WC placing. Too many unknowable/confounding variables.

In the WC, on the other hand, EVERYONE IS ALL IN!

    Ditto for Muhammed/McLaughlin.

I wouldn't say there are any safe choices for a MR really?

In order to play safe, perhaps best to avoid those events where two athletes could win and could break meet record; eg both 400 hurdles.

I find it surprising how many meet records are in play in Zurich being that its the DL final.

As noted, the events that are pretty split and/or events that could produce WRs may be the defining factor in points.
