    This track must post-date Google Earth 2015. Madrid is littered with huge soccer stadiums and a couple of tracks but can't identify this stadium.

    Although the stadium dates back to 1957, it was demolished in 2007 and its renovation was only recently finished. I believe this meet was the first competition at the new stadium.

    But we don't know what stage of training she is in whilst competing. It's a big improvement on her 11.3 and 11.5 earlier in the year. She has another month. I'll wager she will be ready.

    Isn't 'on the third try' a lot simpler?!
    I suspect the phrase might be an obscure throwback that originally comes from something that's nothing to do with track & field.
