    Jeopardy guy James Holzhauer tweets:
I hope to be as brave as Andrew Luck one day.
Imagine reaching the pinnacle of the only job you've ever trained for, finding no joy in it, and having the guts to do the right thing for yourself even though millions of fans will hate you for it.
Of course the twitter world attacked Holzhauer with allegations he took a dive when he lost at Jeopardy...

How is it in this age of an uber-abundance of real information, that so many people can still subscribe to many wacko conspiracy theories?
Luck quit because he was hurt.
    Holzhauser got beat, straight up.
    Occam says so.

I retired when the stressors of the job (call mainly) became no longer bearable and I was reasonably financially secure. It would be outrageous to me if anybody booed my decision because it inconvenienced them. The booing fans are a disgrace,

The worst Quarterback in the NFL has more courage than nearly 100% of people in America.
I'd love to see some of those doughboys booing Luck stand in the pocket waiting for a receiver to get open while nasty vicious guys who can bench press a house and run a 4.4 40 desperately try to knock the shit out of them.

One of the points made yesterday on ESPN radio is how Irsay's decision let Luck keep $24 million bonuses may make future contract negotiations more contentious in the NFL in general, and in Indianapolis in particular. Remember, Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson were forced to give back portions of their signing bonuses when they retired at relatively young ages. If owners have money to just give away, how can they justify driving such a hard bargain with players like Ezekiel Elliott?

Or, the Colts medical staff screwed up treating the "calf" injury, and settlement was Luck keeps the bonus money in return for not talking about it.

For what it's worth, there really black helicopters, and they are really cool, but have nothing to do with the "deep state". The paint is infrared absorbing to keep their IR signature minimized. These were the heroes featured in "Blackhawk Down".
