It was a family tradition to sing it when we drove from Illinois into Wisconsin...

Auburn, with a freshman qback, managed to beat the over-ranked Oregon quacks.

And Navy looks like we should rebound from last year's dreadful season, beating Holy Cross 45-7.

Kudos to both Auburn and Oregon for opening with real opponents, as compared to the tomato cans that so many of the top-ranked schools beat up on.

It was a good game last night.....Oregon looked the better team....especially the defense.

Games often come down to one play and the whole Herbert getting banged in the knee bring the freshman in with a delay I thought hurt Oregon. However Auburn made the play.

SEC had a bit of a tough day with Tennessee, Missouri. Ole Miss and South Carolina losing.

I found the karma delicious in Stanford's 17-7 home win over Nwn. They lost 16-6 @ Nwn last time. But the bad news is their golden boy, Costello, had to leave the game at half with an iffy injury. Without him we're screwed, even tho the frosh back-up has a rocket arm, he ain't ready yet.

I could not believe that no targeting was called on that hit.
